Founded in 1903, in Nuits-Saint-Georges, by Alexandre de Mayol de Lupé and Félix de Cholet, our Firm still shares the same motto by its founder members “Get the best of the blend between “Terroir”, grapes and wine makers to produce unique wines “.

With its 24 hectares of vines located in Chablis and Côtes d’Or, Lupé Cholet, is opened to the world and is marketing its wines in more than 35 countries located on the 5 continents.

Located in Nuits-Saint-Georges, the vineyard of “Château Gris” gets its name from the “château”, still owned by the family, which dominate the town. The 6.65 hectares of grapes are in Nuits-Saint-Georges but also in Côte de Beaune, Aloxe-Corton, Savigny-lès-Beaune and Beaune. Among the best of our wines are Bourgogne "Clos de Lupé", which is the only vineyard inside the town and Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er cru "Château Gris" which vineyard is the only one in terraces and classified in 1st growth.

Located 25Kms est side of Chablis, in the village of Viviers, our 17 hectares vineyard covers the famous growth of Chablis, Chablis 1er Cru "Vaucopins", Chablis 1er Cru "Vaillons" et Chablis Grand Cru "Blanchots".
